The Deputy Director, RM&E is responsible for designing and leading the efforts to make Last Mile Health a more data-driven organization. This is accomplished by setting the overall vision for program monitoring, coordinating the implementation of research activities, managing and building the capacity of RM&E field staff, and overseeing technical support to the Liberia Ministry of Health to design, refine, and implement systems to capture and use data from over 4,000 community health workers.
The Director of Human Resources (HR) will oversee the strategic direction of the Human Resources team, under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer. The Director of HR will grow and supervise HR functions that include staff relations and programs for talent development, recruitment and talent pipeline development, personnel policy and administration, ensuring all are aligned with LMH’s culture code and values.
This position can be based in Monrovia, Boston, or New York and requires significant international travel.
The Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) is responsible for the execution of monitoring and evaluation activities at Last Mile Health (LMH), as well as synthesizing M&E findings for various stakeholders within and external to the organization. The MEL Director will contribute to strategy discussions, provide technical assistance on M&E, and develop successful mechanisms for organizational learning. S/he will be responsible for overseeing the design, maintenance, and refinement of all data collection/reporting tools, cross-cutting programmatic information management, and ensuring that information collected is reflected upon, used to improve ongoing programs, and incorporated into high quality reports and proposals. The Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning reports to the LMH Liberia Country Director, receives technical support from LMH’s Chief Impact Officer, and supervises the in-country LMH RM&E Department.
The Deputy Director of Partnerships & Development will be responsible for the cultivation, stewardship and management of LMH’s relationships with private sector funders in a fashion that meaningfully engages partners and cultivates a values aligned donor community. This individual will expand new funding opportunities and extend existing ones to finance the organization’s short-term and long-term expansion. This position will be responsible for fund development targets upward of $US 15 million annually.
The Deputy Director will have a proven track record of engaging diverse stakeholders and high-net worth partners and will have previously managed business development staff to cultivate durable donor relationships. The Deputy Director will exhibit a high level of professionalism and organization, exceptional communications skills and ability to organize and sustain relationship management systems. This individual is an organizational leader and will serve as a thought partner to the Director of Partnerships & Development and the Chief Executive Officer. The Deputy Director will take on management of key relationships quickly and know how to most effectively leverage the strategic support of the Director of Partnerships & Development and Chief Executive Officer to meet the organization’s development priorities.
The Health Financing Coordinator will support resource mobilization and address health management and financing issues related to the launch and sustainment of a National CHW Program in Liberia. The Coordinator will serve as a principal liaison to the Ministry of Health (MOH) in the area of Health Financing and will work in direct partnership with the MOH to expand health sector financial resources (including mobilization via domestic resources, innovative financing mechanisms and external aid) available to the Government of Liberia for the National Community Health Assistant (NCHA) Program.
The Partnerships & Communications Associate will utilize strong written and visual communication skills to develop compelling proposals, donor reports, and communications materials to support the Partnerships & Development Department’s efforts to enhance Last Mile Health’s funding streams as part of a multi-year growth strategy. Alongside content generation, they will help to coordinate donor visits to Last Mile Health’s field sites in remote regions of Liberia as part of the organization’s broader package of donor services.
This individual will also support the development and maintenance of a repository of high-quality images that compellingly portray Last Mile Health's work. They will also play a key role in supporting strategy development and providing content for LMH's social media portfolio and digital presence.
